This beautiful Northwest home was built in 2017, predominantly with wood selectively harvested from the property site. Resting on the water's edge with sweeping views of Westcott Bay this beautiful and unique home is the perfect place to enjoy your time on San Juan Island. The house is on a quiet neighborhood road with access to many miles of well-marked trails in the National Park and Roche Harbor trail systems. The Westcott Bay Oyster Company is a 10-minute walk from the house. There are steps down to your own private beach to enjoy the water and a gate that helps enclose the deer fence to protect the beautiful landscaping.

The spacious gourmet kitchen is furnished with everything you need to enjoy meals with family and friends. The dining room looks out to the water with gorgeous views of the sunset. The living area features a flat screen TV with access to Netflix and other Smart TV options.

The primary bedroom is furnished with a King bed and two stuffed chairs where you can sit and read while enjoying the lovely water view and native landscape. The primary bath, located conveniently across the hall, has a soaking tub, spacious rain shower, and vessel sink.

The 2nd bedroom (Queen bed) and extra sleeping area (two twin beds) both share a full bathroom with a rain shower. There is a laundry room for guest use.

Finish your day on the lovely, large, deck as you enjoy an outdoor barbecue dinner among friends. The seabirds and wildlife will be sure to ease you into the relaxing island lifestyle.

It is common for people to anchor out in this bay because it is well protected however, you should be knowledgeable of the tides as the shore can get muddy.

**The dock at this property is not suitable for boat tie-up**

  We loved our stay at the Oyster Beach House. We were in Roche Harbor for a wedding and this house was the perfect home base. It is very clean and well equipped, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the dock/water access made for some peaceful mornings and relaxing evenings. Even though this is advertised as a two bedroom space, there was a third room with two twin beds (no closet) that was the perfect space for our fifth guest. The location was a 5 minute drive from Roche Harbor and close to a lot of other nearby spots.

  My husband and I stayed four nights at Oyster Beach House in early September with our son, daughter in law and their two toddlers. We had a wonderful time in this spacious and bright home with a large deck and lovely waterfront views. The adults went paddle boarding and the children played at the little beach. We walked up the street to a beautiful woodland trail that leads to English Camp. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, pots and appliances. Very comfortable beds and two roomy bathrooms. We loved the house and would definitely return! The management company was so responsive and helpful answering questions and helping us out.

  The house is gorgeous, the setting is spectacular and we could have comfortably stayed there for several more weeks! Home has everything you need for cooking, relaxing on the porch taking in the scenery, and the house was impeccably clean - a must for fussy folks like me. Just a quick warning that just as the rental office states, cell service is sketchy on the island (Verizon, particularly we heard), so be sure to have all the information on directions, departure activities, etc. printed off before you arrive! We would come back and stay in a heartbeat.

  The house was spotless and the location couldn’t be better. We could not believe how many wildlife sightings we had from the fantastic deck. We saw seals, otters, eagles, herons and kingfishers just to name a few! It was nice to go into Friday & Roche Harbors but nicer to come back to the solitude of Westcott Bay. Took our bikes over to Lopez Island and went on a whale watch and saw Orcas near Deception Pass.

The sunsets off the deck, walks on the beach and short distance to Roche Harbor made the house our ideal vacation rental. I can only say that you would be extremely pleased with the home and furnishings.
