Perfect Relaxing Waterfront Getaway!! Near Roche Harbor.

This 2 bedroom island getaway is the perfect spot to relax, read a book and enjoy the north end of San Juan Island. The open floor plan of this home is perfect for a couple's getaway or family adventure. Each of the two bedrooms has a Queen sized bed, plus there is a Queen sized sleeper sofa located in the open space between the living room and kitchen. The house sleeps 6 people. The large kitchen and living room are lined with windows to maximize the beautiful and diverse, sunny views of Neil Bay. There is a mooring buoy for guest use.

Spend your day exploring the scenic surroundings in the bay or the many attractions in this area. Evenings can be enjoyed watching sunsets at the isthmus, or, with a board game around the dining room table. The wraparound deck makes wildlife spotting an easy activity at this home. River otters and seals can often be seen in the bay. Eagles, hawks, and many other northwest birds are known to frequent the tall trees of Davison Head as well.

With a grocery store minutes away and the spacious kitchen layout, preparing meals at this property is a breeze. Hiking trails and historic landmarks are just minutes from this cottage for the explorers in your group, while the ample seating in the main area will entice the relaxers to unwind and enjoy the view.

**This home does not have Air Conditioning, the breeze directly off the Bay and a few open windows is all that is required to cool down this home swiftly.

  We had a wonderful stay at Davison Head Cove. The home is lovely and nicely stocked with essentials and the weather was just perfect for us! We even had a visit from a pair of seals in the cove.
  My only suggestions would be to add a little more/brighter lighting to the bedrooms.

  We had a lovely stay in your beautiful home. We were traveling with two adult children and a grand baby, so we loved the beautiful windows that let the outdoors come in, even when we were housebound with a napping baby! The kitchen is beautifully equipped and the home is exceptionally comfortable. This was our first trip to San Juan Island and I feel like we were lucky to stay outside of the ferry area in Friday Harbor. The Roche Harbor area is so lovely and much quieter! We will definitely return and hope to stay with you again.

  The house is very much as pictured. Beautiful view, peaceful location, very clear, nice layout with the two bedrooms on opposite ends of the house. Obviously well cared for by the owners.
  The ferry system out to the island seems to be in disarray. On our return trip we sat in the ferry line for seven hours, despite having a reservation. Locals and news reports indicate this is not unusual.

  We loved the house on Davison Head Road: the wall-of-windows overlooking Neil Bay, the peaceful location, and the cleanliness of it all. Not a fancy house, but well-done overall. The deck, which runs the length of the house, is a bit tricky in that the gaps between the deck boards are wide enough so that the legs of the outdoor chairs can fall into the gaps--be careful. There is a desk in the living room whose height can be adjusted to accommodate a sitting or standing position--cool. Tile/vinyl/hardwood floors: might be nice to have washable rugs in the bedrooms. Second bedroom could benefit from either a suitcase-stand or chest. Keyless entry instructions were clear and problem-free. Would definitely consider staying here again--thanks for everything.

  My wife and I stayed here with our visiting teenage nieces and had a marvelous time. There was robust wildlife including eagles, seals, crabs, songbirds, and more. The nearby village of Roche Harbor is very quaint. Other activities are with an easy driving distance including lavender farms, whale watching, and numerous parks for hiking.
  
  The house itself is very well-kept, spacious, and forwards breathtaking views of the inlet. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a weekend or weeklong getaway that is at peace and in tune with nature.

  We really enjoyed our stay. Great location in fair weather and less than fair weather. We enjoyed predominantly sunny days, but the view is great either way. Comfortable bed, never a guarantee, and really clean with a well equipped kitchen. Bring your kayak if you paddle. You can easily launch just down the road.

  We enjoyed our 10th Anniversary stay on this cute, peaceful, spacious close to everywhere Cabin. It was a memorable experience.   We were 4 adults and 2 small children. House is located within walking distance of Roche Harbor over-looking a small bay. Kids enjoyed searching for crabs and sea shells when tide was out. All locations of interest within a short drive. Outdoor deck and furniture. Plenty of seating with sleeping options and fully-equipped kitchen. Washer / dryer, large fridge. No air but we didn't miss it.

  The house at Davison Head was a delight in many ways. It was nicely furnished, attractively decorated, and had a well-stocked kitchen. It is the cleanest house we have ever rented...the hardwood and tile floors are a perfect touch. The closet systems are wonderful....lots of shelves and hangers, and so smartly laid out. The only drawback was the lack of a real patio set on the deck, and the precarious paths to the chairs mid-way down, and to the stairs leading to the water.
