Waters Edge on Westcott Bay

This beautiful waterfront home has undergone a complete remodel as recently as 2019! The house was updated with a modern feel, while still maintaining its Northwest contemporary charm. The wide deck offers a truly remarkable view and access to Westcott Bay and the surrounding landscapes. Paddle boarders and kayakers will find the access of launching their personal crafts as easy as possible! The house offers a deep-water mooring buoy to tie a boat up to if necessary; low tide provides 8’ depth and is safe for boats 50' or less. (House does not supply kayaks or paddle boards)

Westcott Bay Shellfish Farm is directly across the Bay, close enough to paddle board or kayak your way over to pick up the freshest shellfish on San Juan Island! This 2-bedroom (plus additional sleeping space), 3-bathroom home is perfect for a family getaway or a trip with friends. The primary bedroom has a king bed and en suite bath, the second bedroom has a queen and en suite bath, and the third sleeping space has a queen bed with a bathroom nearby.

Prepare meals in the gorgeous, updated kitchen, and enjoy them at the dining table or the expansive deck with outdoor furniture! After a day of exploring the Island, guests can spend their evening cozying up in the modern living room to enjoy a movie on the flat screen, or simply unplug and take in one of our famous San Juan sunsets!

Very nearby attractions include the Wescott Bay Cidery/San Juan Island Distillery and the Westcott Bay Shellfish Company. There are also some lovely walking hikes on the Roche Harbor trails and across the Bay at English Camp where the view from the top is well worth the hike!

  After 20 years of visiting the Island, we've finally found our special spot. The home is a gem, with massive windows, individual heaters in each room, abundant kitchen supplies, large bedrooms and bathrooms. The outside doesn't look like much, but it's truly the ideal modern, comfortable place. It's a quick walk to Roche Harbor for coffee or a walk thru the Sculpture Garden.
  
  The property management company is truly superior. We had a minor problem with a noisy freezer; I called and they had a repairman immediately fix the problem. They apologized profusely and even thanked me for calling.
  
  We hope to return every year. My only suggestion would be to supply cushions for the lovely teak deck furniture - at least during warmer months when guests will be outdoors.

  Waters Edge on Westcott Bay is a piece of paradise. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay and felt completely at home.
  
  The house is set in an amazing location and was in pristine condition. Many simple amenities were provided which we appreciated. Knowing what was there in advance would have been helpful.
  
  Having the deck furniture and blankets was wonderful. The gas/electric fire place was not working which we would have really enjoyed this time of year.

  This was our first trip to the San Juan Islands and we couldnt have asked for a better place to stay! It was a quiet/relaxing location. The house is right on the water. We saw harbor seals, all kinds of birds, deer, and even foxes! The whole backside of the house is windows so you won't miss the wildlife or beautiful sunsets. This house is great for a family of 5-6. We cannot wait to come back!!

  Waters Edges on Westcott Bay is wonderful escape with just the right amount of solitude. The home is lovely with fantastic light coming in through the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water. We saw several bald eagles and the rare golden eagle as well, all from the living room and deck. We can't wait to return again!
