Seascapes Estate - A classic design, elegant interior, and picturesque setting- there is indeed no other rental like this on the island. Situated on over 6 acres overlooking historical Westcott Bay, the Seascapes Estate is a timeless classic. The home offers over 6,000 square feet of living space including 7 spacious bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, a private basketball court, two hot tubs, propane igniting firepit, all next to 20 acres of preserve that Blue Heron, Fox, Deer, Eagles and other native wildlife call home.

Once inside, you’ll find 11 foot ceilings and a stately woodburning fireplace complete with an old growth log mantle. The entire living, dining and kitchen area open out to stunning water views through the floor to ceiling windows and doors. Whether you bring your own chef or enjoy cooking and catching up with family and friends this wonderful, spacious gourmet kitchen complete with a Wolf gas range, dual ovens, dual dishwashers, dual sinks, and a Sub Zero refrigerator is sure to please. Dine inside while peering out to the spacious yard and water – seating for 10, or step outside to the comfortable teak, cushioned patio seating for 10.

Also located on the main level of this home you will find 2 media rooms. One is perfectly furnished with a sectional seating perfect for movie watching on the 60’’ flat screen television. The second room offers individual, overstuffed cushion chairs, a 60’’ flat screen television, and a desk with fax machine for those that must.

The two lower-level bedrooms are beautifully furnished and share a continental bathroom. The spacious water view bedroom is furnished with a King size bed. The second bedroom offers a queen size bed.

The second level offers two mirrored, 925 square foot primary suites. Each suite encompasses striking water views and has a private balcony. Each is furnished with a King size bed, sitting areas, and is complemented by stunning, spacious primary bathrooms. Completely finished in marble, the primary bathrooms offer dual sinks, oversized showers, and soaking tubs. Between the two primary suites is another bedroom equipped with 2 Twin beds, an attached half-bath, a peloton exercise bike, and sweeping views of Westcott Bay.

The third level of this home is perfect for the younger members of your group! With two bedrooms, a full marble finished bathroom, and gaming/television area they will enjoy themselves as well. One bedroom is furnished with one Queen bed and one Twin bed. The second bedroom offers two double size beds.

Within a mile you’ll find the Westcott Bay Sculpture Park and the Roche Harbor Resort, Marina, and Spa. Enjoy fine dining, kayaking and whale watching tours, shopping, and the relaxed ambiance of the mariner lifestyle. Additionally, there are miles of hiking trails close by for those who want to enjoy the outdoors of the Pacific Northwest at its finest.

This property has good cell phone reception. The internet speeds recorded at this home are- Download: 19.13 mbps, Upload: 1.67 mbps, Ping: 63.6 ms. (3 tests were conducted for an average speed in January of 2022).

This is a wonderful, protected bay for Stand-up Paddle boarding or kayaking, and guests are welcome to bring their personal crafts for launching straight from the house. Kayaks and SUP are not provided at the home.

    This is a magical spot! It has lots of well-appointed space for a large group and plenty to do without even leaving the property. From stand-up paddle boarding in Westcott Bay to shooting hoops on a two-goal court to playing disc golf on the six-acre lawn, everyone found their happy place. The house is set back from the bay at a distance that allowed for easy supervision of small children, and the wildlife sightings added to the thrill of the overall experience. We kept one jacuzzi at a kid-friendly temperature and the other steamier for the adults. Between the well-equipped kitchen and a large outdoor grill, the chefs in our group were in heaven-- as were the diners! When venturing off the property, both Roche Harbor and the Westcott Bay Shellfish Co. are walking distance, as is access to numerous hiking trails. Most of our group rented e-bikes in Friday Harbor for a day and from the west side of the island were treated to the sight of a sizable Orca pod frolicking in the Haro Straight. Another bit of entertainment is the sunset flag ceremony at Roche Harbor, the canon salute from which can be heard from the comfort of the Seascapes patio. A few very small bits of advice: bring your own basketball, there is no coffee grinder so pre-ground coffee is a must, and we could have used something larger than the mini food processor provided. That said, this is unequivocally an all-around great setting for a family get-away.

    Large, lovely home. Private. Beautiful setting. Used property for mixed generation family gathering. Felt like guests in a friend’s home. Played games in the yard, explored the hiking trails, used the hot tubs, s’mores around the fire pit, board games around the large dining table. Ate in and discovered fun local restaurants. Fun fun spot for family vacation. Need to plan ahead for ferries to get to island, especially in season.
