High Seas is the ideal location for in town convenience! This waterview, upstairs condominium is as good as it gets on the island.

High Seas is a beautifully furnished one (1) bedroom water view condo complete with luxurious decor throughout with interior updates in 2020. This charming suite offers a fully equipped kitchen beautifully finished with granite counter tops and stainless appliances. This suite is equipped with a standard, drip-style coffee maker. Enjoy meals at the breakfast bar built for 2 or gather around the beautiful dining table for 4. It offers a balcony with water views and a propane BBQ. The bedroom is furnished with a King size bed and has an adjoining continental full bathroom. The electric Aerobed can be comfortably utilized in the living room.

The living space is equipped with a DVD player, HDTV, satellite TV, and a view of the Friday Harbor Ferry Dock.

With comfortable accommodations for 4, this suite is perfect for those traveling with or without a car (off street parking available. One car per unit) and that are looking to enjoy the town of Friday Harbor’s dining and shopping, while being centrally located to enjoy the beautiful nature San Juan Island offers!

The block surrounding the San Juan Suites offers many delicious restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, ice-cream shops and art galleries, all within walking distance. On Saturday mornings the local San Juan Island Farmer's Market is a 1-minute walk from the San Juan Suites!

This suite is equipped with Central Air.

This suite has good cell phone reception.

There is not an elevator in the building, climbing a flight of 18 stairs is required.

Pets are not allowed at this property.

It was within a couple of blocks of anything you might want or need and the designated parking was very convenient and appreciated. I lost track of how much time I spent just watching the ferries load and unload out the window from the chairs in the living room. It was so relaxing. They provided everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. Everytime I thought , I wish they had a specific item, I would find it in the condo. The only thing I found they didn’t have was a pizza cutter. I definitely would stay here again in a heartbeat.

  Everything was exactly as advertised, and we encountered no issues during our stay. The property was clean and fully equipped with everything we could have needed during our stay. Appreciate the ease of making the reservation and all of the follow-up with directions, instructions, etc. And we LOVED the view. Just amazing. And wonderfully relaxing. The only thing that I wish I'd have brought to someone's attention was the light outside the Hermosa Mexican Kitchen & Bar, which was right outside our bedroom window. It was shining VERY brightly each night (perhaps even overnight, not sure), and even with the window coverings, it was bothersome. I did not mention it because I thought it might have been a one-night thing (someone perhaps forgot to turn it off?), but it continued each night. And the restaurant and bar were not open at the time when the light was on. Perhaps this can be addressed if it is still happening, for the comfort of future guests.

  Very cute condo with everything you need. Great location. Only complaint is that there is zero soundproofing between the condo and retail businesses below. The coffee shop directly under the condo gets real busy with ferry passengers starting at 6:30 and you can hear everything.

The picture in the advertisement is right on......standing on the deck, looking on the less than stones throw at the restaurant below.. Everything you need in town is within an easy walk. Private parking is provided just below and to the right of the unit.. The unit was spacious for two adults, clean and well layed out. What little help we needed was quick and responsive. We have stayed with VRBO/Homeaway around the country and abroad. At times the check in process can be confusing....NOT here....easy, quick, and simple....same for check out. Great unit, location and host...highly recommend

  This apartment was right in the middle of it all. The view of the harbor was amazing...and we were walking distance to the awesome market, coffee shops, and restaurants.
  The king bed was super comfortable and the kitchen and living area worked out great for our family of four...especially with both kids tuned into their remote learning classes via Zoom. Also the management company kindly accommodated my request for a later departure so my kids could finish up their school day which was really nice!
  Couple things - we were a family of four so we used the aerobed provided which would have worked perfectly if it didn't have a significant leak. Hopefully they replace it. :) (and it's a mute point if it's only two of you.) Additionally, the apt had a faint smell of cig smoke, but it didn't take away from our overall experience...I'd still stay here again.
  We had our first dinner out since covid at Downriggers and it was delightful. Second night we picked up takeout pizza and yummy local IPAs from San Juan Island Brewing and they didn't disappoint! Cant wait to return! :)

  The location can't be beat for a visit to the islands.Everything in town is an easy walk from the apartment.
  We were pleasantly surprised to find the place is air conditioned as the heat was pretty high the week we were there.
  Everything you would need is included and the kitchen amenities are more than adequate.
  The included parking spot was especially nice as it is impossible to park downtown most times of the day and there is little that you can use overnight.
  One bad point is the noise form the coffee shop below the apartment. It closes at five so you can easily go to sleep, but they open at seven. There is a great deal of noise between six when they start to prep for opening and the closing work.
  Other than that, I highly recommend this apartment.

  Booked this trip spontaneously and last minute, so there were not a lot of accommodations in the town available. We chose this option because the other Hotel was six blocks away. Even though there is a restaurant/bar right directly in front of this unit, you can still see the gorgeous view Friday Harbor beyond. The unit is clean, spacious, and suited our needs perfectly. Can't beat the location with everything you want right within walking distance . We did stay five nights, and it would be nice if there was a dresser in the master bedroom so that one could unpack if they wanted to . Other than that, we would highly recommend this place to stay. We shopped for groceries a block away, and cooked a few meals which was nice. The place across the street called the rumor mill had live music which we thoroughly enjoyed ! Pricey but we splurged.

  Great location and view. Easy to walk from Ferry. Property Management checked in to make sure everything was good which was appreciated. I would recommend a few more pots and pans and the 6th dining chair.

  Wow, what a great rental! If you are thinking about staying at the High Seas go for it! I came from Seattle with my girlfriend and brother to get away from the city (Seattle) We got to the Island at 1130am and check in was not until 4PM. We called just to see if we could check in early and lucky us we were good to check in rite away! It was a little tricky finding the gated parking lot but after one call the property team came out to my car and helped walk us around the corner to the lot. (Was super nice of her) We all loved the view from the living room and deck. My girlfriend and I slept perfect in the bedroom and my brother loved the air mattress. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans for dinner and breakfast if you like. We did both. it's located rite in the center of downtown so you don't need a car if you will be around downtown, you can just hop off the ferry and walk about a block and half. Loved the place and can't wait to come back again!

  Condo was as expected - great location, central to restaurants in Friday Harbor, clean, comfortable and in good condition. As noted in other reviews, it could be a bit noisy - voices from the coffee shop downstairs, and conversations at the bar (deck in picture) when open. Nights were quiet. Fun watching the ferries arrive, load & unload, and leave. Overall, nice location for a vacation stay, especially if you don't want to have to drive everywhere. Had some issues with the dishwasher, but at the end of our stay, so no real impact to us & we told the property manager. Check out is a bit early - 10 am, and if it is booked, no option to make it later.

  If you are looking for a true downtown experience in Friday Harbor, this is your place. The deck literally looks over the harbor, where the ferries come in. The condo is incredibly roomy and fully stocked with all amenties. We were there over a weekend, so it was bustling and full of activity. There was music surrounding us both Friday and Saturday night, which we enjoyed. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not it. The Rumor Mill is an excellent restaurant right across the street with live music.
  This is a convenient location filled with lots of people watching, ferry watching and fun. You won't be disappointed and the price is amazing!

  This is a great Comdo in the middle of all the action. The views are spectacular and loved that the unit had AC. The only negatives would be the early morning banging around heard from the coffee shop below and the hidden fees in the room rate (cleaning fee, taxes, management fee). $279 a night was actually $379 a night after all fees.

  We couldn't have picked a better place to stay! The property was great, very clean, a comfy bed, and very useable kitchen. LOVED the view! Easy access to many restaurants and tours/adventures. We did a Whale Watching cruise with San Juan Excursion (excellent) and did a sunset schooner cruise on the Spike Africa (also marvelous). Our toilet was very difficult to flush and you had to take the lid off to adjust every time. Other than that, everything would get top marks!

  Love this place. We have stayed there 4 times now. The view of the harbor is outstanding and it's located in the heart of downtown Friday Harbor. Most things are within walking distance. Like the new bigger TV and the second TV in the bedroom. Only thing we did not like is the DISH TV provider this time. DIRECTTV or Cable would have been a better experience. Can't wait to stay there again.
